Since the GPU has a height tolerance of +/-0.15 and the heatsink copper block has a tolerance of +/-0.10, a 0.3mm gap is reserved. A thermal grease with 7.5W/mk is used (as shown in the bottom image), with the simulated thickness set at a maximum of 0.6mm and K value at 6.0W/mk (actual is 7.5W/mk).
