Project Objective:
To provide airflow field analysis and temperature field analysis for the client‘s energy storage battery pack project through simulation calculations.
To propose design suggestions for the project to reduce the temperature of the battery cells and extend their service life.

Working Conditions:
The battery system's heat generation was calculated at 0.5 C discharge based on the battery cell specifications (with a single battery cell equivalent to 11.82 W). The equivalent power consumption of the fuse is 1.6W.
The ambient temperature is 20℃.

Set the thermal conductivity of the battery cells and the P-Q curve of the fan as shown in the following figure:

At an ambient temperature of 20°C, the highest temperature inside the battery pack is 42.989°C.
1. Lower the ambient temperature. The air conditioner should blow on the side with higher temperature.
2. Increase the efficiency of the outlet fan of the battery pack by increasing the speed or using a larger fan.
